Dorio

Dorio is disciplined, level-headed and comfortable taking command when Maine cannot. She balances his more forceful leadership style with a pragmatic awareness of what is happening around the crew.

She is caring toward people she trusts and often takes on a protective role. Her affection for Maine is particularly strong, but she does not hesitate to confront him when she believes his behavior is becoming dangerous.

Dorio also accepts David relatively quickly once he begins proving himself. She judges people largely by what they contribute to the team rather than their background or social position.

Dorio is an experienced Solo with extensive physical augmentation. Her cyberware includes Gorilla Arms and cybernetic legs, giving her considerable strength and close-combat capability.

One of her cyberlegs contains a concealed firearm, allowing her to attack from unexpected positions even when apparently disarmed.

She is also proficient with conventional firearms, including pistols and assault rifles. Combined with her physical strength and years of edgerunner experience, these abilities make her one of Maine's most dependable frontline combatants.

Dorio serves as Maine's second-in-command throughout the crew's operations. She participates in David's introduction to the group and helps evaluate whether the inexperienced teenager can function as an edgerunner.

She later becomes involved in the operation targeting Arasaka executive Tanaka, including the attempt to secure braindance editor Jimmy Kurosaki.

As Maine begins succumbing to cyberpsychosis, Dorio tries to keep him grounded and convince him to reduce his cyberware. During the Tanaka operation, Maine loses control and attacks her. Dorio later reaches him again during the police assault, but she is shot and killed while trying to bring him back to himself.

Maine is Dorio's romantic partner, crew leader and closest companion. She remains focused on saving him even after his cyberpsychosis makes him dangerous to everyone around him.

David Martinez joins the crew under Maine's mentorship, and Dorio becomes one of the experienced mercenaries guiding him.

Lucy, Kiwi, Rebecca and Pilar are Dorio's fellow crew members.

Jimmy Kurosaki becomes a target during the crew's operation against Tanaka.
