Kiwi

Kiwi is reserved, cynical and deliberately difficult to read. She keeps emotional distance from the people around her and approaches mercenary work with the expectation that everyone ultimately acts in their own interests.

Her most explicit lesson is that trust is dangerous in Night City. Kiwi teaches Lucy not to rely completely on anyone, reflecting a worldview built around betrayal as an ordinary part of survival.

She nevertheless develops genuine connections despite insisting otherwise. Her mentorship of Lucy and long association with Maine's crew show that she is capable of loyalty, even if she distrusts the idea of depending on it.

Kiwi is an accomplished netrunner capable of penetrating secure systems, extracting information and performing deep dives through neural interfaces.

Her cyberware includes a Neuroport with a cyberdeck connection and multiple personal links. She also possesses a cybernetic lower-face replacement and other extensive body modifications.

Kiwi can perform offensive quickhacks during operations while simultaneously supporting the crew's information needs. She carries a Unity pistol for situations requiring direct physical defense.

Kiwi operates as one of Maine's primary netrunners and is responsible for bringing Lucy into the crew. She participates in information-gathering operations and corporate jobs that require access to protected systems.

She is instrumental in the operation targeting Tanaka, working with Lucy to extract valuable Arasaka data.

After Maine's death and the formation of David's crew, Kiwi eventually accepts an offer from Faraday to betray her teammates. She helps him capture Lucy and manipulate David into using Arasaka's experimental cyberskeleton.

Faraday subsequently turns on Kiwi and has her shot after deciding she knows too much. Mortally wounded, Kiwi contacts David's crew and gives them Faraday's location, helping them pursue Lucy before she dies.

Lucy is Kiwi's former protégé. Kiwi teaches her netrunning and warns her against trusting anyone. Kiwi later betrays Lucy to Faraday but ultimately provides information that helps David's crew locate her.

Maine employs Kiwi as one of his crew's netrunners.

David Martinez becomes Kiwi's crew leader after Maine.

Faraday recruits Kiwi to betray David and Lucy before betraying Kiwi in turn.

Rebecca, Dorio and Pilar are other members of the edgerunner crew with whom Kiwi works.
