Pakkoyan

Pakkoyan is caring, loyal and attentive to her companions. During Ganja's crisis she helps care for the sick, and her concern for Vueko is especially pronounced.

She remains protective as a Narehate, worrying about other villagers when violence reaches Iruburu. Her limited dialogue means much of her personality is communicated through actions rather than extended conversation.

As a human member of Ganja, Pakkoyan possesses the expedition experience required to survive the journey into the Sixth Layer.

Her Narehate body has a single large eye and animal-like ears, but no distinctive supernatural power is established.

During the fighting inside Iruburu, she uses a net-like projectile weapon against attackers.

Pakkoyan accompanies Ganja into the Abyss and survives the expedition's descent into the Sixth Layer. She assists Vueko during the pseudo-water epidemic that devastates the group.

After Irumyuui becomes the foundation of Iruburu, Pakkoyan surrenders her human body to the village and becomes one of its earliest Narehate inhabitants.

During Iruburu's collapse, Pakkoyan notices Vueko's absence and finds her exposed to the Sixth Layer's Curse. She pushes Vueko toward Nanachi so that she can be rescued, sacrificing her own protection when she crosses the collapsing village boundary.

Vueroeruko is Pakkoyan's most significant relationship. Supplementary manga material establishes that the two were lovers during their time with Ganja, and Pakkoyan ultimately risks herself trying to save Vueko.

Wazukyan leads the Ganja expedition of which Pakkoyan is a member.

Irumyuui becomes the living foundation of the village to which Pakkoyan eventually surrenders her human body.

Nanachi is the person toward whom Pakkoyan sends Vueko after the latter is exposed to the Curse.
