Orochi

Orochi is terse, controlled and confident. She generally speaks in short statements and approaches combat without the theatrical behavior displayed by many other White-Clad members.

Her confidence can become condescending when she believes an opponent is weaker. She readily comments on an enemy's shortcomings and trusts the cutting power and flexibility of her Medusa Whip to maintain control of a fight.

After the reconstruction of the world following the Cataclysm, Orochi displays an unexpectedly shy and romantic side, developing an immediate attraction to Hajiki.

Orochi is a Third Generation pyrokinetic whose Ignition Ability is Medusa Whip. She generates a long flame whip that can change shape while in motion, allowing it to function as a slashing, piercing or defensive weapon.

The whip moves at high speed and carries enough cutting force to slice through flame-resistant Fire Force turnout gear. Orochi can stiffen its tip into a piercing weapon or divide it into multiple tails, producing an attack resembling a multi-tailed lash.

By rotating multiple flame strands, she can form a defensive screen capable of intercepting projectiles. This combination of offense and defense makes simply approaching her extremely dangerous.

Other Third Generation pyrokinetics possess greater natural resistance to fire, reducing the immediate cutting effectiveness of the weapon against them, but sustained pressure can still penetrate their defenses.

Orochi participates in the White-Clad's ambush of Companies 2 and 8 during their investigation of the Nether. Ritsu deploys the Knights of the Purple Smoke alongside her reanimated forces, turning the underground operation into a series of isolated battles.

Orochi encounters Amon Hajiki, whose specialized marksmanship has already made him highly effective against the Infernal swarm, before turning her attention toward Tamaki Kotatsu and Takeru Noto.

Orochi kills Hajiki with a surprise strike from Medusa Whip. She then overwhelms Tamaki and inflicts severe injuries on Takeru, whose layered clothing allows him to continue advancing despite repeated cuts. Takeru ultimately defeats her with an enormous point-blank explosive attack.

Following the reality reconstructed after the final Cataclysm, Orochi and Hajiki are both restored, and her former hostility toward him is replaced by romantic interest.

Ritsu leads the Knights of the Purple Smoke and deploys Orochi during the Nether operation.

Amon Hajiki encounters Orochi during that battle. She kills him with a sudden Medusa Whip attack, while the reconstructed world later restores them both and leaves Orochi attracted to him.

Tamaki Kotatsu becomes Orochi's next opponent in the Nether. Tamaki's Third Generation resistance makes Medusa Whip less immediately effective against her than against ordinary Fire Soldiers.

Takeru Noto attacks Orochi to protect Tamaki Kotatsu. Despite suffering devastating injuries from her whip, he continues advancing and ultimately defeats Orochi with a massive explosion.
