Nathan Rich

The manga establishes very little about Nathan's individual personality.

He remains closely associated with the other foreign newcomers and does not receive the extended characterization given to the Tokyo team's returning hunters.

Nathan has no established supernatural abilities or specialized combat skills.

He is eligible to use the standard Gantz equipment after being reconstructed in the room, but the manga does not demonstrate a distinctive fighting style or notable proficiency.

Nathan appears among the large collection of new participants sent into the Dinosaur Alien mission after the violence in Shinjuku.

He and the other foreign newcomers are initially treated with suspicion because circumstances surrounding the massacre have placed them in conflict with Japanese authorities.

Nathan survives the dinosaur hunt but does not become a long-term member of Kurono's organized team. He is subsequently killed during the Vampire attacks against Gantz participants outside active missions.

Bob Morris, Sean Lewis and Michael Combs are the other foreign men who enter Gantz alongside Nathan.

Kei Kurono is one of the experienced hunters participating in Nathan's first mission.

Shion Izumi's Shinjuku massacre creates the wider circumstances that lead to Nathan and the other newcomers becoming entangled with Gantz.
