Nanaho Nanahoshi

Nanaho presents herself as cheerful, friendly and familiar with Yuga. Her calm behavior contrasts sharply with Yuga's reaction to seeing her, immediately suggesting that their shared childhood was not as comfortable for him as her manner implies.

She has a pronounced fascination with insects and leads a club devoted to them. Her ladybug motif reinforces this interest, while her Rush Duel strategy translates it directly into the monsters she uses.

Nanaho's pleasant demeanor conceals a manipulative streak. She enjoys exploiting Yuga's childhood fear of ladybugs and deliberately uses that fear to destabilize him.

Nanaho is a Rush Duelist who uses an Insect Deck. Her cards are built around insects and fit naturally with her position as president of the Battle Bug Club.

She is also skilled at psychological pressure. Nanaho understands Yuga well enough to exploit memories from their childhood, giving her an advantage that has nothing to do with card effects.

As club president, she directs fellow insect enthusiasts Kirihito Kamagaya and Kabuto Bito, who support her activities.

Nanaho enters the story when Guruguru brings her to meet Yuga. Rather than being pleased to see his childhood friend, Yuga becomes visibly unsettled, prompting the others to investigate why he reacts so strongly to her.

Their reunion leads to a Rush Duel in which Nanaho deliberately draws on the fears associated with their childhood. Her arrival also introduces the Battle Bug Club from Goha 5th Elementary.

Nanaho later becomes involved in the conflict surrounding Yuga Goha and the spread of memory manipulation, helping create conditions that threaten people's memories of Rush Dueling.

Yuga Ohdo is Nanaho's childhood friend. Although Nanaho treats their reunion casually, [she knows that Yuga Ohdo developed a fear of ladybugs because of experiences involving her and deliberately exploits it during their Duel](#spoiler).

Ranze Nanahoshi and Rinnosuke Nanahoshi are Nanaho's cousins.

Kirihito Kamagaya and Kabuto Bito are members of Nanaho's Battle Bug Club at Goha 5th Elementary.

Guruguru helps bring Nanaho back into contact with Yuga Ohdo. Their association later becomes more significant after Guruguru's suppressed identity and memories return.
