Kirihito Kamagaya

Kirihito shares the Battle Bug Club's intense enthusiasm for insects and willingly participates in the group's unusual activities. He is cooperative with the other members and generally follows Nana's direction.

His visual presentation reflects his particular association with the praying mantis. Unlike Kabuto, whose defining trait is physical strength, Kirihito relies on the cutting apparatus attached to his backpack when the club needs to force its way through an obstacle.

The series gives Kirihito relatively little independent characterization, and he is not established as having personal ambitions separate from the Battle Bug Club.

Kirihito carries a mechanical backpack fitted with large mantis-like blades. The blades are functional rather than decorative and can slice through barriers, giving him a practical specialty within the Battle Bug Club.

He is also experienced in insect-related activities through his club membership. The Battle Bug Club participates in Rush Duel-related events alongside other student organizations from Goha schools.

Kirihito does not receive a complete individual Rush Duel in the anime, so no personal Deck, ace monster or independent Dueling strategy is established for him.

Kirihito initially belongs to the group of Goha 5th Elementary students associated with the Battle Bug Club. He later appears with the club during the Team Battle Royal period, when school clubs from across Goha City become increasingly involved with Rush Dueling.

During the group's activities at Goha Corporation, Kirihito uses his mantis apparatus to cut through a door while the club accompanies Nana. Their actions bring them into contact with Yuga Ohdo, whose fear of ladybugs makes Nana particularly effective against him.

Kirihito and the other Battle Bug Club members later become caught up in the conflict surrounding Yuga Goha and the Nanahoshi Ninja Village, remaining part of the wider supporting cast during the final stages of the series.

Nana Nanahoshi leads the Battle Bug Club and directs Kirihito during its activities. He consistently works as one of her supporting club members.

Kabuto Bito is Kirihito's fellow Battle Bug Club member. The two usually operate together, with Kabuto Bito providing considerable physical strength while Kirihito contributes his mantis-themed cutting equipment.

Yuga Ohdo encounters Kirihito through the Battle Bug Club's activities and its association with Nana Nanahoshi.
