Michel

Michel initially performs an exaggeratedly courteous and generous public persona. He smiles constantly, reassures civilians, signs autographs, and praises the Karakura-Raizer Team.

Behind the façade, he is vain, manipulative, and contemptuous. He depends on hypnosis to manufacture admiration and loses his composure when Kon mocks his appearance. His arrogance prevents him from treating the Modified Soul as a serious threat until the fight turns against him.

Michel hypnotizes victims through eye contact, causing their eyes to flash red before they begin admiring and obeying him. He places most of Karakura Town under this influence. Kon is immune because he is a Modified Soul rather than an ordinary human or Plus.

He distributes capes that appear to grant flight but actually drain the wearers’ reiatsu. Michel absorbs this energy and shapes it into a purple trident capable of melee attacks and volleys of spiritual arcs.

His other abilities include Sonído, a constricting attack formed from thrown roses, and a large crimson Cero. When his disguise fails, he transforms into a horned, fur-covered Hollow while retaining the trident and energy attacks.

Michel interrupts Kon’s attempt to save a Plus, destroys the attacking Hollow, and secretly hypnotizes the witness. Repeated public victories turn him into Karakura Town’s new celebrity while Kon is dismissed as an inferior hero.

He recruits Tatsuki Arisawa, Keigo Asano, Chizuru Honshō, and the other Karakura-Raizers, then uses his capes to weaken them. Tatsuki resists the hypnosis long enough to recognize the deception.

Tatsuki covers Michel’s face with his cape, allowing Kon to knock out the tooth maintaining the hypnosis. Michel reveals his Hollow form, but Kon deflects his Cero and destroys him with the Raizer Beam.

The Unnamed Female Arrancar creates Michel and orders him to destroy Karakura Town.

Kon is Michel’s rival and the one person unaffected by his hypnosis. Tatsuki Arisawa sees through his deception and creates the opening that lets Kon strike him.

Keigo Asano, Chizuru Honshō, Ururu Tsumugiya, and Don Kanonji are among the Karakura-Raizers he manipulates and drains.
