Menis

Menis is boastful, impulsive and cruel. He embraces Patros’s assertion that Hollows should not submit to a Shinigami and attacks perceived enemies without hesitation.

He is confident enough to fight a captain and lieutenant simultaneously, but retreats once their combined resistance overwhelms him.

Menis releases Erizo with the command “Stab.” His Resurrección covers him in armor and a full facial mask while producing three long, segmented appendages tipped with blades.

The appendages function like prehensile tails, extending across the battlefield to stab, sweep and restrain opponents. His released strength is sufficient to break through some of Hitsugaya’s ice formations, though he cannot sustain an advantage against the captain.

Menis and Aldegor support Patros in an attempt to steal the Hōgyoku and overthrow Aizen. The rebels seemingly kill Ulquiorra and escape to the Human World, where Menis and Aldegor delay the pursuing Shinigami.

Their victory was staged through Kyōka Suigetsu: the apparent Ulquiorra and stolen Hōgyoku were deceptions. After fleeing his battle, Menis reunites with Patros only to succumb to Hitsugaya’s ice, which freezes and shatters him.

Patros is the rebellion’s leader, and Menis follows his plan to supplant Sōsuke Aizen. Aldegor is his fellow conspirator.

Ulquiorra Cifer is the apparent victim of the rebels’ ambush, although the encounter is an illusion. Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Rangiku Matsumoto oppose Menis in the Human World.
