Lisa Isaribi

Lisa initially appears kind, honest and strongly protective of Vulcan and Yuu. She can be fiery and argumentative, especially when strangers intrude on the workshop, but her hostility is rooted partly in concern for the people with whom she lives.

Her affection for her workshop family is genuine and becomes one of the strongest influences on her decisions. She worries about Vulcan's struggles, assists with his work and dreams of an ordinary family life rather than power or prestige.

Lisa's behavior is complicated by years of psychological conditioning under Giovanni. She is terrified of disappointing him and struggles to resist his influence even when his orders conflict with the attachment she has developed toward Vulcan and Yuu.

Lisa is a Third Generation pyrokinetic whose Ignition Ability creates flame tentacles. She can manifest them around her body or from nearby surfaces, using them to strike, grapple and restrain opponents.

Her flames possess magnetic properties and can lock onto the subtle magnetic fields produced by living organisms and machines. This tracking property makes simple evasive movement difficult once her flames have acquired a target.

Lisa can create multiple appendages simultaneously, giving her strong control over close and medium ranges. Her flames can be countered by technology designed to disrupt or extinguish them, particularly once an opponent understands their magnetic mechanism.

Lisa is introduced at Vulcan's workshop as part of the small family living there with Vulcan and Yuu. She is suspicious when Company 8 arrives seeking to recruit Vulcan but participates in the conversation surrounding his family and inventions.

Lisa is actually Feeler, an operative raised by Giovanni and sent to infiltrate Vulcan's home in search of the Key to Amaterasu. When Giovanni attacks the workshop, she reveals her mission and turns her flames against the people she has lived beside. Her hesitation makes clear that her affection for them is no longer merely an act.

After returning to the White-Clad, Lisa encounters Vulcan again in the Nether. Giovanni exploits her fear and uses her as leverage, but Company 8 ultimately rescues her. She later joins Company 8 and begins rebuilding her life away from his control.

Her later battles increasingly emphasize her willingness to confront the person who conditioned her. During the final conflict, Lisa helps Vulcan fight Giovanni directly, overcoming much of the terror that once made resistance seem impossible.

Vulcan Joseph is the person Lisa respects most and a central member of the family she finds at the workshop. Although she initially enters his home as an infiltrator, her feelings become genuine, and Vulcan refuses to abandon her after learning the truth.

Yuu lives with Lisa and Vulcan Joseph at the workshop. She treats him as part of their family and cares about his safety.

Dr. Giovanni is Lisa's former handler and abuser. He raised and conditioned her to obey him, exploiting her fear of abandonment until she struggles to act against him even after developing a new family.

Akitaru Ōbi helps demonstrate to Lisa that Company 8 intends to rescue rather than punish her, contributing to her eventual place within the brigade.

Shinra Kusakabe, Arthur Boyle, Maki Oze, Iris, Takehisa Hinawa and Viktor Licht become Lisa's comrades after she joins Company 8.
