Lannion

Lannion is playful, mischievous and straightforward. He spends much of his free time with Thoma, and the pair frequently play tricks on their siblings.

He can be cowardly when confronted with immediate danger, but this does not prevent him from helping when something genuinely important is at stake.

Lannion also possesses a practical inventive streak. Once he understands the escape plan, he focuses on solving concrete problems alongside Thoma.

Lannion has no supernatural powers. His notable skill is resourcefulness, particularly when working with Thoma.

The pair create a water-bottle rocket capable of launching a rope across the ravine outside Grace Field. Their invention provides the technical solution that allows the escaping children to cross the seemingly impassable gap.

Later experiences outside the farm give Lannion basic survival and weapons skills.

Lannion begins as one of the younger Grace Field children and is usually seen with Thoma. He is eventually brought into the escape preparations with Thoma, Anna and Nat.

During the escape, Lannion and Thoma use their homemade launcher to send rope across the ravine. The children then use the line to cross away from Plant 3, defeating one of the plantation's strongest natural defenses.

In the manga, Lannion continues traveling with Emma's family through their later settlements and struggles in the demon world.

Thoma is Lannion's best friend, prank partner and closest collaborator.

Emma becomes an older leader whom Lannion trusts once he learns about the escape.

Anna and Nat join the expanded escape plan at approximately the same stage as Lannion and Thoma.

Isabella raises Lannion as his Mama at Grace Field House.
