Kimi Toudou

Kimi is playful, confident and knowingly manipulative. She likes testing boundaries and often presents provocative suggestions with such cheerful innocence that the people around her are left unsure whether she is serious.

She is especially comfortable using charm to get what she wants. When the student council needs equipment, Kimi is willing to flirt with a teacher to improve their chances of receiving it.

Kimi is also largely immune to the reverence surrounding Yuki. She treats him as another student to tease rather than the distant "Prince" worshipped by his fan club, helping make the council an unusually ordinary social environment for him.

Kimi has no supernatural abilities. Her most notable skill is social manipulation: she reads reactions quickly, flirts without embarrassment and knows how to make other people uncomfortable or cooperative.

As a student council secretary, she participates in administrative work alongside the other council members, although her playful behavior frequently creates as much disruption as assistance.

Kimi enters as part of the student council assembled around Yuki. Together with Kakeru, Machi Kuragi and Naohito Sakuragi, she helps create a social group in which Yuki is neither feared nor worshipped.

Her role is primarily comedic and interpersonal rather than dramatic. Kimi's teasing repeatedly pushes the more serious members out of their comfort zones, particularly Naohito.

Yuki Souma is Kimi's student-council president. She treats Yuki Souma casually and readily teases him rather than participating in his schoolwide idolization.

Kakeru Manabe is a fellow council member whose playful temperament often complements Kimi's.

Machi Kuragi serves on the same council and provides a much quieter contrast to Kimi's outgoing personality.

Naohito Sakuragi is particularly easy for Kimi to provoke because of his serious temperament.
