Kiki Kikitsu

Kikitsu is energetic, casual and driven by difficulty. Because many activities come easily to her, she considers much of the world boring and deliberately seeks tasks that might actually challenge her.

This makes her broad talent somewhat directionless. She can become highly capable at something without developing a lasting passion for it, moving on once the difficulty that attracted her has disappeared.

Even dangerous situations do not easily disturb her concentration. Kikitsu can remain absorbed in a game while carrying a weapon, treating both as simultaneous challenges.

Kikitsu is a weapons specialist, with particular demonstrated skill using knives. She can approach distracted opponents quietly enough to land a surprise stabbing attack.

Her talents extend beyond weapon handling, although they are characterized more by versatility than by a single specialized supernatural ability.

Kikitsu herself acknowledges limits to her multitasking: trying to use a knife while playing a video game can divide her attention enough to cost her progress in the game.

Kikitsu is one of the middle-school students who remains after Kumagawa attempts to discourage every potential successor summoned by Medaka. Her appetite for difficult challenges makes succeeding the famously extraordinary Medaka an appealing proposition.

She becomes an intern in the Candidate Student Council and participates in the trials administered by Hakoniwa Academy's committee chairmen.

The succession candidates eventually return to their previous schools rather than immediately replacing Medaka's council. Kikitsu later enrolls at Hakoniwa Academy as a freshman.

Ten years afterward, she collaborates with her former candidate teammates on developing a smartphone game, with the group planning to establish a company together.

Medaka Kurokami represents precisely the kind of difficult standard that attracts Kikitsu, motivating her to participate in the succession process.

Suishou Kibougaoka, Shori Wanizuka, Tsugiha Yojirou and Ima Takarabe are Kikitsu's fellow Candidate Student Council interns.

Misogi Kumagawa attempts to drive the successor candidates away. Kikitsu later demonstrates her knife skill by catching Misogi Kumagawa off guard and stabbing him.
