Kazu

Kazu is sociable and hopeful enough to discuss life after escape even while Scar Chain is preparing for an operation with a high chance of failure. He worries about practical matters such as how he will support himself outside prison.

His exchanges with the other resistance members help establish Scar Chain as a community of prisoners imagining lives beyond G Ward rather than simply a combat organization.

Kazu is a Deadman and can manipulate his blood after it leaves his body. The specialized form of his Branch of Sin is never revealed.

No named techniques or distinctive conventional weapons are established for him.

Kazu participates in the mass escape organized by Nagi Kengamine and Karako Koshio. Before the operation collapses, he discusses his uncertain future outside the prison with the other Scar Chain members.

Endō offers Kazu work at his factory if they succeed in escaping.

The Undertakers intercept Scar Chain's group and attack with flamethrowers. Kazu is burned to death in the assault; the resulting fire is subsequently used by Shiro to dispose of the explosive data chip planted by Rokuro.

Nagi Kengamine leads Scar Chain and organizes the breakout Kazu joins.

Karako Koshio helps command the resistance during the operation.

Endō offers Kazu employment at his factory if they reach the outside world.

Genkaku Azuma commands the Undertakers responsible for destroying Scar Chain's escape attempt.
