Reyes is a professional psychophysiology researcher with expertise connecting psychological states to biological processes.

She also works for DURPA and participates in operations involving brainwashing and the pursuit of time-travel research. In routes where she acts directly, she is capable of operating as an armed field agent rather than merely an academic.

Steins;Gate 0's visual novel and anime rearrange several conspiratorial roles, so individual operations involving Reyes do not occur identically across adaptations.

Reyes is introduced through Viktor Chondria University's academic circle and becomes acquainted with Okabe while the Amadeus project and Kurisu's research attract international attention.
