Jing

Jing is restrained and generally maintains a flat expression, contrasting with the conspicuous weaponry hidden throughout his body. He behaves more like a professional combatant than an impulsive brawler.

He follows mission objectives and demonstrates enough tactical discipline to adapt his arsenal to different opponents. Preparation is important to his ability, making forethought a significant part of how he fights.

His loyalties later change as the political situation surrounding Yamato develops, showing that his mercenary identity ultimately outweighs permanent devotion to the Tower.

Jing's Modding ability allows him to install and deploy numerous weapons and tools through his body without suffering the physiological damage an ordinary person would experience.

He can transform a finger into a gun, deploy a submachine gun from his torso, convert an arm into a flamethrower or rotary machine gun, produce blades and circular saws, launch wire traps, and release chains from his shoulders.

The variety of modifications makes Jing effective across multiple ranges. He also possesses Raise.

Jing initially serves the Tower of Mourning and joins Tawashi Minami and Nari Tsumiji on an operation involving a passenger aircraft.

Azuma Higashi and Ely Otta intervene. Jing proves particularly dangerous against Azuma, whose iron creation must contend with the mercenary's rapidly changing arsenal.

Jing later participates in the fighting surrounding the Tower of Mourning and eventually separates from Sora's faction. His subsequent activities place him within a different military alignment as the conflict spreads beyond Yamato.

Sora Siruha is the leader Jing initially serves through the Tower of Mourning.

Tawashi Minami works alongside Jing during missions for the Tower.

Nari Tsumiji accompanies Jing and Tawashi during the passenger-aircraft operation.

Azuma Higashi becomes Jing's principal opponent during that mission, with their weapon-based abilities producing a direct combat matchup.

Ely Otta fights Jing's allies while attempting to save the aircraft's passengers.
