Personality
Personality
Jikishirone's own personality must be distinguished from Mirsam's. The energetic, mischievous and jester-like behavior displayed by the Oracle Witch in public largely belongs to the Prophecy Majik controlling her body.
Jikishirone herself remains conscious within Mirsam's magic circle. Rather than resenting the Majik occupying her body, she develops an affectionate bond with her and calls her "Sammy." Jikishirone is more trusting than Mirsam and believes that humans and Majiks can eventually learn to coexist.
Her optimism becomes an important counterpoint to Mirsam's cynicism. Jikishirone encourages her partner to place faith in other people rather than assuming that every bond between humans and Majiks will ultimately become exploitative.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
The Oracle Witch's famous prophetic ability belongs to Mirsam. Prophecy produces vague visions of possible futures and can reveal actions that may cause or prevent those outcomes. The predictions are not simple omniscience; they require interpretation and can change depending on subsequent choices.
Mirsam can produce multiple prophecies but doing so places strain on the shared body. The ability can also be used tactically by glimpsing immediate possibilities during dangerous situations.
Jikishirone's physical body is fully possessed while her own consciousness resides within Mirsam's magic circle. This unusual arrangement means the public identity of the Oracle Witch combines a human host with a Majik acting through her.
Story Role
Story Role
Jikishirone enters Ichi's story when the Oracle Witch delivers an extraordinary prophecy concerning the future of Han-Sekai no Mahou. The prediction identifies the person who acquired Uroro as the only potential hope against the Majik destined to destroy the world.
The prophecy consequently identifies Ichi as the future challenger capable of acquiring the World-Hater, but predicts that he will die at the same moment. The revelation directly motivates Desscaras to create a mentor-pupil blood contract linking her fate with Ichi's.
Later chapters reveal Jikishirone's consciousness within the magic circle and distinguish her from Mirsam. Their shared hope for peaceful human-Majik coexistence becomes increasingly important when forces aligned with the World-Hater pressure Mirsam to abandon humanity.
Relationships
Relationships
Mirsam possesses Jikishirone's body and serves as her Majik partner. Despite the extraordinary circumstances, Jikishirone regards Mirsam affectionately, calls her "Sammy" and encourages her dream of coexistence.
Ichi becomes central to the Oracle Witch's most consequential prophecy as the person capable of challenging the World-Hater.
Desscaras receives the prophecy concerning Ichi and reacts by refusing to accept its predicted sacrifice.
Han-Sekai no Mahou is the subject of the catastrophic future foreseen through Mirsam's power.
