Huburt presents himself as a disciplined and formal soldier in Yhwach’s presence. His deference to the emperor is absolute, and he reacts angrily when someone he considers inferior addresses Yhwach without sufficient respect.

Away from the throne, he is confrontational and condescending. He initially resents Jugram Haschwalth’s sudden elevation and later offers to punish Bazz-B for repeatedly challenging Jugram. His willingness to conceal an internal fight shows that pride can override military discipline.

As a Quincy, Huburt gathers ambient reishi and combines it with his own spiritual energy. He can form a reishi saber for close-range combat and carries the spiritual awareness expected of an elite Lichtreich soldier.

His precise Schrift, if he possessed one, is never revealed. No Vollständig or unique supernatural ability is identified.

Huburt’s appointment to the original Schutzstaffel and vice-captaincy indicates considerable standing within the early Quincy army, but the story does not provide a complete battle from which to measure his strength.

Huburt first appears in the manga among the corpses animated by Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto’s Zanka no Tachi. The Thousand-Year Blood War anime later expands his life in the Lichtreich.

He is present when Yhwach selects Jugram as his essential counterpart and future Sternritter leader. Three years later, Huburt serves beneath Jugram as vice-captain and offers to discipline Bazz-B for insubordination.

Huburt also accompanies Yhwach during negotiations with Ichibē Hyōsube. During the Lichtreich’s invasion of Soul Society, Yamamoto burns Huburt, Johann Seydlitz, and Algora Lallau to death. A millennium later, Zanka no Tachi raises the scorched remains of Yamamoto’s victims during his battle with Royd Lloyd.

Yhwach is Huburt’s emperor and the object of his uncompromising loyalty.

Jugram Haschwalth is his captain. Huburt initially objects to Jugram’s promotion but later defends his authority against challengers.

Bazz-B is a fellow Sternritter whom Huburt threatens to punish. Ichibē Hyōsube meets him during the Lichtreich negotiations.

Johann Seydlitz and Algora Lallau are fellow members of the original Schutzstaffel who die in the same campaign. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto kills Huburt with Zanka no Tachi.
