Hamaya Hyakuchou

Hyakuchou is confident and transactional. He openly states that Medaka Kurokami's abilities do not particularly interest him, distinguishing his motivation from researchers who are fascinated by her potential.

Instead, he agrees to cooperate with Youka Naze and Oudo Miyakonojou because helping Oudo creates an obligation he may be able to collect later.

Like the other Plus Six members, Hyakuchou possesses an eccentricity that separates him even from ordinary Abnormals.

Hyakuchou is an exceptional archer who carries a metallic bow and arrows. The exact mechanics of his Abnormality are not fully explained in the manga, so his established capabilities are considerably less defined than those of several other Flask Plan participants.

His overall ability is nevertheless regarded highly within the Plus Six. He and Gagara Itoshima are treated as the principal candidates for leadership of the group.

Hyakuchou also possesses the superhuman physical capabilities expected of a Class 13 Abnormal and is one of the select Flask Plan members permitted to use the underground facility's elevator.

Hyakuchou appears with the Plus Six during the Thirteen Party conflict. The group represents Abnormals so eccentric that their personalities become important precursors to the later concept behind Class -13.

His role is primarily as part of the Flask Plan's upper echelon rather than as an independently developed antagonist. The Plus Six's arrival establishes that the underground facility contains dangerous students beyond those the Student Council has already encountered.

Years later, Hyakuchou becomes a pilot, showing the adult life he builds after the conflicts at Hakoniwa Academy.

Youka Naze receives Hyakuchou's cooperation during the Flask Plan conflict, although his motivation is pragmatic rather than personal devotion.

Oudo Miyakonojou is someone Hyakuchou deliberately helps so that Oudo Miyakonojou will owe him a favor.

Gagara Itoshima shares Hyakuchou's position near the top of the Plus Six, with both regarded as candidates to lead the group.

Medaka Kurokami is the target around whom much of the Flask Plan conflict revolves, although Hyakuchou explicitly claims little personal interest in her abilities.
