Fuyumi Tachihara

Fuyumi is caring, patient and deeply devoted to Touma Tachihara. Eight years of uncertainty surrounding her son's condition have not diminished her commitment to caring for him.

Her protectiveness becomes particularly apparent after Touma awakens. She wants answers about what happened to him but must also contend with his fragile condition and inability to remember the events preceding his fall.

Fuyumi maintains ties with the people she knew growing up despite the painful history connecting their group. The return of Keisuke Yamao and the gathering of old friends bring memories of the earlier tragedy back into her life.

Fuyumi is a trained nurse with professional medical knowledge. Her occupation complements the care required by her son during his prolonged unconsciousness.

She has no established combat abilities or extraordinary investigative skills. Her medical background gives her practical understanding of health and patient care, but the investigation itself is primarily conducted by Conan Edogawa and the police.

Fuyumi is introduced when the visitors to Kitanosawa meet the group of childhood friends affected by the events of eight years earlier. Her son Touma Tachihara has remained unconscious since falling from a cliff as a seven-year-old.

Touma unexpectedly awakens during the new investigation but cannot remember what happened to him. His recovery gives Fuyumi hope while simultaneously making him potentially important to the mystery surrounding the village.

Touma gradually recovers memories showing that his accident was connected to the night Natsuki Tono was struck by a car. He had witnessed evidence linking Keisuke Yamao to a jewelry robbery and was pursued before falling from the cliff.

As the situation escalates, Touma and the Detective Boys become targets because his returning memories threaten to expose secrets from that night. Fuyumi is consequently drawn back into a crisis rooted in the same events that took her son's childhood from him.

Touma Tachihara is Fuyumi's only son. She spends eight years caring for him while he remains unconscious and is deeply protective of him when he finally awakens.

Sentarou Kizaki is the doctor responsible for assessing Touma Tachihara's condition and advising Fuyumi about his recovery.

Mizuki Tono, Keisuke Yamao, Takehiko Muto and Shogo Hikawa are Fuyumi's childhood friends from Kitanosawa. Their lives become intertwined again when the group reunites after eight years.

Conan Edogawa becomes involved in investigating the events surrounding Fuyumi's friends and Touma Tachihara's lost memories.
