Dordonii Alessandro Del Socacchio

Dordonii alternates between theatrical humor and hardened pragmatism. He pirouettes through combat, makes deliberately dramatic declarations and calls Ichigo “niño,” yet he understands that the Espada hierarchy rewards only demonstrable power.

His determination to regain his rank leads him to provoke Ichigo by any available means, including threatening Nel Tu. After experiencing Ichigo’s full power, Dordonii develops sincere respect for him and advises the younger fighter to become more ruthless if he intends to survive Las Noches.

Dordonii is an agile hand-to-hand combatant who uses powerful kicks as his primary sealed-form offense. Barón Puntapiés Alto produces a rotating kick capable of dispersing a Getsuga Tenshō, while his acrobatic movement lets him attack from unusual angles.

His Resurrección, Giralda, generates large wind funnels around his legs. Dordonii shapes these cyclones into birdlike forms that strike, restrain or carry him through the air, giving him both ranged power and exceptional mobility. As a former Espada, he also possesses substantial spiritual pressure, Hierro and Sonído.

Dordonii intercepts Ichigo and Nel during their advance through Las Noches. Believing that defeating Ichigo at maximum strength might restore his former position, he refuses to accept a limited victory and repeatedly demands the use of Bankai and the Hollow mask.

Ichigo ultimately overwhelms him but leaves him alive. When Rudbornn Chelute and the Exequias arrive to eliminate the defeated combatants, Dordonii stays behind to delay them and is killed while giving Ichigo time to escape.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi later recovers Dordonii’s corpse and reanimates him as part of the Arrancar Corpse Unit, deploying him against Giselle Gewelle’s zombified soldiers during the Quincy invasion.

Ichigo Kurosaki is Dordonii’s principal opponent and the warrior whose potential restores some of his pride. Nel Tu accompanies Ichigo and heals Dordonii with her saliva after their battle despite his earlier willingness to endanger her.

Sousuke Aizen demotes Dordonii from the Espada after creating a stronger generation of Arrancars. Rudbornn Chelute leads the Exequias sent to execute him following his defeat.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi reanimates Dordonii alongside Cirucci Sanderwicci, Luppi Antenor and Charlotte Chuhlhourne. Giselle Gewelle and her zombies become targets of that revived unit.
