Circos is serious, loyal and remarkably deadpan. Even when complaining about overwork, begging for help or expressing a desperate desire for a vacation, they tend to maintain the same controlled expression used during official Association business.

That restraint creates a dry contrast with the more eccentric witches around them. Circos is capable of joining Monegold in moments of silliness when they believe nobody is watching, but can instantly return to professional composure when interrupted.

Circos's established role is administrative rather than combat-oriented. They assist Monegold with information management, correspondence, meetings and the practical work required to operate the Mantinel Witches Association.

No personal Majik, named spell or combat specialty has been established for Circos. Their gender has likewise not been specified, so they should not be assumed to possess the magical abilities associated with witches.

Circos first appears beside Monegold as the Association attempts to control the enormous interest generated by the discovery of a male witch. They subsequently attend the Witches' Conference where Ichi's future and the public consequences of his activities are discussed.

Circos points out that outside agencies are already making inquiries about unusual events connected to Ichi, including the changes at Druid Mountain. Their observations reinforce the fact that Monegold cannot keep the existence of the first male witch contained indefinitely.

Later appearances continue using Circos as Monegold's administrative partner, including at Ichi's public debut and during periods when the Association's expanding responsibilities leave both secretary and president exhausted.

Monegold is Circos's employer and constant professional partner. Circos remains beside her through Association meetings and administrative crises, while their private interactions suggest considerable personal familiarity.

Ichi is primarily someone Circos deals with through Monegold's responsibilities, including the institutional upheaval created by his emergence as the first male witch.

Kumugi Harvest is unexpectedly placed in the spotlight by Circos during Ichi's debut event when questions are redirected toward her.
