Bador Vlad

Bador is fanatically loyal to Sora and has remained devoted to her across decades of war, political upheaval, and isolation. His loyalty is personal rather than merely institutional; when others abandon or oppose her, Bador continues to regard serving her as the defining purpose of his life.

He is also extraordinarily violent. Even during the Great Choujin War, allies and enemies alike feared the contrast between his handsome appearance and the carnage he produced on the battlefield.

Age has not mellowed him. Bador's failed attempt to inherit Sora's Mark and decades spent watching her deteriorate appear to have worsened his instability, leaving him prone to savage outbursts even against his own subordinates.

Bador controls the blood and flesh composing his body. He can harden blood into blades, spikes, shields, tendrils, and additional appendages while reshaping his anatomy for different forms of combat.

He can absorb other people's blood to increase his own reserves and accelerate regeneration. Hemocraft techniques weaponize spilled blood, while Hematorphosis can restructure his body into specialized combat forms, including a centaur-like configuration armed with enormous blades.

Blood Raise makes Bador exceptionally difficult to destroy. Because his controlled blood effectively remains part of him, he can reconstruct himself from surviving blood even after most of his body has been obliterated. His controlled Chaosification further increases his physical abilities without stripping away his intelligence.

Bador originates in Iratis, the first country struck during Quiem McMann's expansion. After its fall, he joins Sora's Volunteer Allied Forces and becomes a general whose combat ability rivals the celebrated Kagomura swordsmen.

After the war he remains beside Sora and helps establish Yamato Mori. When Sora is later expelled, Bador follows her rather than remaining with the organization and becomes a senior figure in the Tower of Mourning.

Bador spends decades searching for the Beast of Prophecy and even attempts to receive Sora's Mark himself. The transfer fails and leaves his body severely distorted, but his loyalty remains intact.

During Yamato Mori's assault on the Tower, Bador confronts its Keepers as one of Sora's most dangerous defenders, forcing Azuma and multiple veteran fighters into an extended battle.

Sora Siruha is the central person in Bador's life. Bador follows Sora Siruha from the Great Choujin War through the founding of Yamato Mori and beyond her eventual exile.

Quiem McMann's invasion destroys Bador's homeland and indirectly leads him to join Sora's forces.

Azuma Higashi becomes one of Bador's principal opponents during Yamato Mori's assault on the Tower. Bador recognizes Azuma Higashi's courage even while remaining confident in his own superiority.

BB Banshou fights Bador during the same operation. Bador inflicts catastrophic injuries on her, but her unusual Bomber Raise allows her to continue fighting him.
