Babidi

Babidi is sadistic, vindictive, cowardly, and extremely self-important. He takes pleasure in disposing of subordinates who are no longer useful and treats even powerful servants as disposable tools. The official Dragon Ball profile emphasizes this ruthlessness through his treatment of Spopovich and Yamu after they complete their assignment.

He is far less formidable when stripped of magical protection. Babidi usually avoids direct physical confrontation, relying instead on controlled warriors, teleportation, barriers, curses, and threats.

Babidi is an exceptionally versatile sorcerer. His Manipulation Sorcery exploits evil within a target's heart, bringing the victim under his influence while drawing out additional power and marking the forehead with an "M." He uses this magic on numerous servants, most notably Dabura, Spopovich, and Yamu.

His other abilities include teleportation and environmental manipulation through the "Papparapa" spell, defensive barriers strong enough to withstand extremely powerful attacks, telepathy, remote observation, and Explosion Sorcery, which can cause a target's body to burst apart.

Babidi comes to Earth to awaken Majin Buu, whose sealed cocoon has remained hidden there. He sends Spopovich and Yamu to the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai to steal energy and later draws Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and the Supreme Kai into his underground ship.

Babidi recognizes the darkness remaining in Vegeta's heart and attempts to control him, creating Majin Vegeta. Vegeta resists Babidi's direct commands but accepts the magical power increase and fights Goku, releasing enough energy for Buu's awakening.

After Buu awakens, Piccolo cuts Babidi in half, but Buu heals him. Babidi then uses the threat of resealing Buu to control him until Buu realizes Babidi cannot cast the sealing spell if he cannot speak and kills him.

Bibidi is Babidi's father in the manga's original presentation, and Babidi continues his work surrounding Majin Buu. Supreme Kai is Babidi's enemy and the divine figure who previously opposed Bibidi.

Majin Buu is the creature Babidi seeks to awaken and control. Dabura serves as his most powerful subordinate, while Spopovich, Yamu, Puipui, and Yakon perform specific roles in gathering energy and defending his ship.

Vegeta allows Babidi's magic to awaken the evil within him but retains enough independence to reject Babidi's commands. Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo are among the fighters who oppose Babidi's plan.
