Yakon

Yakon is predatory, gluttonous, confident, and eager to consume strong opponents. His first concern upon seeing intruders is whether they are suitable food.

He is comfortable in complete darkness and assumes this environmental advantage will leave opponents unable to defend themselves.

Yakon's appetite ultimately outweighs caution. Once he discovers a particularly rich energy source, he continues feeding even when doing so becomes dangerous.

Yakon possesses tremendous strength, speed, durability, sharp claws, and excellent senses in absolute darkness. His power is measured at 800 kili within Babidi's system.

His defining ability is consuming light and energy. Yakon can draw in the luminous power generated by a Super Saiyan, effectively feeding on the transformation's emitted energy.

This makes ordinary energy projection potentially counterproductive against him. His ability to navigate darkness also gives him a major advantage on Planet Ankoku or environments Babidi alters to imitate it.

Babidi places Yakon on the second stage of his spaceship after the invading group defeats Pui Pui.

Goku is selected to fight him. Babidi changes the environment to Planet Ankoku, expecting the complete darkness to favor Yakon.

Goku senses Yakon's movements without relying on sight and transforms into a Super Saiyan. Yakon begins consuming the emitted energy and believes he has found an unlimited food source.

Goku deliberately produces more energy than Yakon can safely absorb. Yakon continues feeding until his body overloads and explodes.

Babidi controls Yakon and assigns him to defend his spaceship.

Dabura is Babidi's highest-ranking warrior and recognizes Yakon as one of the organization's more dangerous fighters.

Goku becomes Yakon's opponent and exploits his uncontrollable appetite for energy.
