Asana Mutsuba

Asana is proud, disciplined and intensely loyal to the history of her family. She treats machinery with unusual affection, speaking to R6 as a trusted partner rather than merely a vehicle.

Her pride does not prevent her from recognizing genuine skill. Yuga's immediate enthusiasm for R6 and his ability to repair the machine earn her respect before their conflict over Rush Dueling fully develops.

Asana also possesses a strong sense of responsibility toward her club. She expects loyalty from its members and willingly carries burdens herself when the future of Mutsuba Heavy Machinery or the people depending on her is at stake.

Asana is an accomplished Rush Duelist using an EARTH Wyrm Deck based on construction machinery. Her monsters include powerful industrial Wyrms designed to support her Maximum strategy.

Wyrm Excavator the Heavy Cavalry Draco is her signature Maximum Monster. Assembling its three Maximum components gives Asana an exceptionally powerful monster capable of applying enormous offensive pressure.

She is also an experienced operator of heavy machinery. R6 serves as both her treasured vehicle and her platform for Heavy Cavalry Duels, in which the machinery becomes part of the spectacle surrounding the Rush Duel.

Asana has practical mechanical knowledge inherited through the Mutsuba family's industrial tradition, although Yuga's talent for invention and repair can surpass her expectations.

Asana first appears observing the growing conflict surrounding Rush Duels before becoming the central opponent of the Goha 6th Elementary arc. Her Heavy Cavalry Duel Club has effectively taken control of the school and suppresses Rush Dueling.

She meets Yuga personally after R6 breaks down. Yuga repairs the machine without knowing who she is, and Asana allows him to drive it, creating mutual respect before they confront each other as opponents.

Asana defeats Yuga in their first Rush Duel using Wyrm Excavator, but their later rematch exposes the truth behind her agreement with Goha Corporation. Yuga ultimately defeats her and helps resolve the pressure being placed on Mutsuba Heavy Machinery.

After the conflict, Asana becomes one of Yuga's strongest recurring allies and continues participating in major Rush Duel battles throughout the remainder of the series.

Yuga Ohdo begins as Asana's ideological opponent but quickly earns her respect through his love of machinery and willingness to help R6. Galient Tazaki serves as a trusted member and tactical adviser of Asana's Heavy Cavalry Duel Club.

Kayama Schwer is another loyal club member who supports Asana and addresses her with great respect.

Caterpillio Zomyoji belongs to the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club and fights alongside Asana's other followers.

Haruka Kamijou becomes Asana's friend and formidable rival. The two share strong personalities and considerable physical confidence despite specializing in very different activities.

Nail Saionji becomes one of Asana's notable Rush Duel opponents after she has joined Yuga's wider circle of allies.
