Allen

Allen displays the confidence and provocative attitude characteristic of Jabberwock. He participates in the team's mockery of Japanese basketball and behaves as someone accustomed to being substantially better than ordinary opponents.

He is not developed as extensively as Nash or Silver, and canon does not provide a detailed personal history or independent motivation for him. His characterization therefore remains closely tied to Jabberwock as a group.

On court, Allen remains composed enough to execute difficult offensive actions against elite defenders rather than simply relying on intimidation.

Allen is a high-level streetball player with strong perimeter scoring, ball handling and athletic ability. He can create separation against elite defenders and is comfortable shooting under pressure.

His offensive repertoire includes a difficult fadeaway-style jumper that creates space from a defender, giving him a useful scoring option even against the exceptional size of Vorpal Swords. His overall ability is high enough that leaving him unattended to focus on Nash or Silver creates immediate problems.

Allen also contributes through screens and off-ball play rather than functioning solely as an isolation scorer. No canon material establishes a predictive eye, Zone-level transformation or other ability comparable to Jabberwock's two principal stars.

Allen first appears as part of the Jabberwock team visiting Japan for an exhibition against Team Strky. He contributes to the comprehensive defeat that establishes the Americans as a threat beyond ordinary Japanese high-school competition.

Allen then starts against Vorpal Swords and spends portions of the game matched against some of the Generation of Miracles' strongest scorers. His continued offensive contribution helps Jabberwock remain dangerous even as the Japanese team begins finding answers for Silver.

Vorpal Swords eventually completes its comeback and defeats Jabberwock by one point. Allen receives less narrative focus than Nash and Silver, but his performance helps establish why the Americans require an unprecedented collection of Japanese players to defeat them.

Nash Gold Jr. is Allen's captain and primary distributor.

Jason Silver is Allen's center and Jabberwock's dominant interior player.

Nick and Zack are Allen's fellow supporting starters on Jabberwock.

Daiki Aomine, Ryouta Kise, Shintarou Midorima, Atsushi Murasakibara, Seijuurou Akashi, Taiga Kagami and Tetsuya Kuroko collectively form the Vorpal Swords roster that challenges Allen and Jabberwock.
