Synopsis
Food Wars! The Fifth Plate is the anime’s final season. Now occupying Totsuki’s First Seat, Soma Yukihira faces one last series of examinations before receiving an invitation to BLUE, an international competition intended to discover chefs capable of serving the culinary world’s most demanding patrons.
The tournament brings Totsuki’s students into conflict with the Noir, underground chefs who employ unconventional tools and extreme techniques. At the center of the contest is Asahi Saiba, a mysterious chef connected to Soma’s father and Erina Nakiri. The season adapts the manga’s final storyline while rearranging and compressing portions of its opening material.
