Synopsis
After the battle in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro Kamado travels to the hidden Swordsmith Village in hopes of obtaining a replacement Nichirin sword. There he encounters Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, and fellow Demon Slayer Genya Shinazugawa, while learning more about the craftspeople responsible for the Corps’ weapons.
The village becomes the target of two Upper Rank demons, forcing its defenders into simultaneous battles against enemies with unusual, rapidly changing abilities. Adapting the manga’s Swordsmith Village Arc, the season expands the series’ exploration of the Hashira, the Upper Ranks, and the relationship between swordsmanship, inherited memory, and personal identity.
