Synopsis
Ayakashi Triangle follows Matsuri Kazamaki, a teenage exorcist ninja charged with protecting people from dangerous supernatural beings called ayakashi. His childhood friend, Suzu Kanade, is an exceptionally powerful Ayakashi Medium whose abundant life energy attracts spirits—particularly Shirogane, the formidable King of Ayakashi.
When Matsuri seals most of Shirogane’s power, the resentful spirit retaliates with a spell that transforms Matsuri into a girl. Unable to reverse the transformation immediately, Matsuri begins high school in this new form while continuing to protect Suzu. The season adapts the manga’s introductory stories, balancing supernatural action and romantic comedy as the pair encounter friendly ayakashi, hostile entities, fellow exorcists, and questions about how Matsuri’s transformation affects their relationship.
