Synopsis
Seven years after graduating from Kunugigaoka Junior High School, Nagisa Shiota and Karma Akabane return to the former Class 3-E building on the eve of a reunion. Their conversation recalls the extraordinary school year in which they and their classmates were ordered to assassinate Koro-sensei, their seemingly indestructible teacher.
The film condenses major events from both seasons of the television anime while adding newly animated framing material about the adult Nagisa and Karma. It functions primarily as a retrospective of Class 3-E’s story rather than a standalone continuation, emphasizing the students’ growth and their relationship with their teacher.
