Yuuta Kondou

Kondou receives limited individual characterization. His friendship with Tomao is the main personal connection established before the mission begins.

Like most newcomers in the room, he lacks the experience necessary to judge which warnings should be taken seriously. The rapidly escalating temple battle gives him little opportunity to develop beyond his initial role.

Kondou has no established supernatural abilities or specialized combat training.

He has access to Gantz equipment as a participant, but the story does not establish notable proficiency with the suit or weapons.

Kondou enters with the large group preceding the Buddhist Temple mission and is transported to the temple alongside the returning Tokyo hunters.

The statues prove vastly more dangerous than the newcomers expect. Kondou is among the numerous inexperienced participants who are killed as the mission escalates.

Tomao is Kondou's friend and enters the Buddhist Temple mission alongside him.

Kei Kurono, Masaru Katou and Kei Kishimoto are experienced hunters participating in the same mission.
