Yuamu Oudou

Yuamu is intelligent, composed, pragmatic, and highly business-minded. She can assess unusual situations quickly and is usually several steps ahead of Yuhi when their investigations require planning rather than enthusiasm.

Her practicality extends to money and UTS itself. Yuamu treats the organization as an actual business, negotiating jobs and considering how unusual discoveries can benefit the company instead of approaching alien hunting purely as an adventure.

She is confident in her dueling ability and frequently teases Yuhi about his lower standing within UTS. Despite their arguments, she cares deeply about her brother and works effectively with him when circumstances become genuinely dangerous.

Yuamu is a skilled Rush Duelist who uses a High-Tech Dragon Deck. Her cards combine Dragon monsters with technological imagery, matching her analytical personality and interest in technical solutions.

Blue-Fang Burst Dragon is her principal ace. Her strategies demonstrate considerably more technical confidence than might be expected from her age, and her skill is one reason she can credibly help teach Yudias how Rush Duels work.

Outside dueling, Yuamu is technologically capable and manages much of UTS's equipment and operations. Her intelligence, planning ability, and business sense frequently solve problems that cannot be addressed through dueling alone.

Yuamu operates UTS alongside Yuhi, serving as its president while her brother occupies the organization's lowest employee rank. Their investigations are largely driven by Yuhi's determination to locate aliens and recover his stolen Earthdamar.

Meeting Yudias radically changes UTS. Yuamu immediately recognizes the importance of encountering a genuine extraterrestrial and helps establish an arrangement in which Yudias works for the company while she and Yuhi teach him Rush Dueling.

Her combination of technical expertise and dueling ability makes Yuamu central to the trio's investigations as increasingly complicated extraterrestrial incidents occur around Mutsuba Town.

Yuamu's path later diverges dramatically from the straightforward UTS investigations of the early story as conflicts involving the Velgearians, time, and the future of Rush Duels reshape her priorities and relationships. Several of her later decisions place her in direct opposition to people who had previously fought beside her.

Yuuhi Oudou is Yuamu's twin brother and fellow UTS founder. Yuamu Oudou frequently bosses him around and outranks him within the company, but their sibling bond remains central to both their personal lives and their alien investigations.

Yudias Velgear becomes a UTS employee after meeting the twins. Yuamu teaches Yudias Velgear about Rush Duels and relies on him as both a colleague and friend as their investigations become increasingly dangerous.

Manabu Sougetsu initially encounters Yuamu through his work involving aliens. His serious approach frequently collides with UTS's methods, but he becomes an important recurring ally.

Zuwijo Zwil Velgear enters Yuamu's life through the larger conflict surrounding Yudias and the Velgearians. His plans involving the Earthdamar and Duel Monsters force Yuamu and the other UTS members into direct opposition with him.
