Warrod Sequen

Warrod is playful, eccentric, modest, and fond of jokes that often leave other people uncertain whether he is serious. He regularly allows misunderstandings to develop before revealing that he was joking.

Beneath that humor is an unusually thoughtful mage. Warrod readily acknowledges that rank does not make him unbeatable and teaches younger Fairy Tail members that a mage does not need to excel in every area when companions can compensate for one another's weaknesses.

His connection to nature is central to his life. He describes stopping desertification as a hobby despite the enormous magical effort involved.

Warrod also remains deeply sentimental about Fairy Tail's founding ideals and takes pride in seeing them preserved by later generations.

Warrod uses Green Magic, a supportive discipline that creates, controls, and rapidly grows plants. He can transform barren terrain into vegetation almost instantly and produce plants serving transportation, restraint, healing, and environmental restoration.

One of his most impressive applications creates an enormous moving tree capable of transporting passengers over great distances at high speed.

Although Warrod describes his magic as having little offensive capability, his immense Magic Power allows him to use plant growth against powerful enemies when necessary.

His ranking among the Four Gods of Ishgar reflects magical ability on a scale far beyond ordinary guild mages, even though he rarely emphasizes combat.

Warrod first becomes directly involved with Team Natsu when he requests help investigating Sun Village, which has been mysteriously frozen.

He uses a giant moving tree to transport the group toward the village and explains that, despite being a Wizard Saint, his own magic is poorly suited to melting the ice.

Warrod's deeper history is revealed through Fairy Tail's founding era. He originally travels as a treasure hunter with Yuri Dreyar and Precht Gaebolg, reaching Tenrou Island in search of the Tenrou Jade.

After joining Mavis Vermillion's campaign against Blue Skull, Warrod learns plant-based magic from Zeref. The group subsequently establishes Fairy Tail in Magnolia.

Much later, Warrod becomes one of Ishgar's highest-ranked Wizard Saints and joins the reconstructed Magic Council.

During the Alvarez invasion, he fights alongside Draculos Hyberion, Wolfheim, and Jura Neekis against God Serena. Despite their combined power, Serena overwhelms all four.

Mavis Vermillion is Warrod's friend and fellow Fairy Tail founder whose ideals he continues to treasure more than a century later.

Yuri Dreyar and Precht Gaebolg are Warrod's original treasure-hunting partners and fellow founders.

Zeref teaches Warrod the magic that develops into his Green Magic.
