Canon has not yet established Wakuna's personality in meaningful detail. Their attainment of White Whistle rank demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to the Abyss, but specific motivations should not be inferred from the title alone.

Bondrewd describes Wakuna as getting on in years, making their ability to undertake an independent Last Dive particularly notable.

Wakuna is a White Whistle, placing them among the highest-ranked and most accomplished cave raiders in Orth.

They possess an unidentified personal Relic capable of providing an alternative means of entering the Sixth Layer. The exact function and nature of this Artifact remain unrevealed.

Wakuna's White Whistle resembles a whale or dolphin, but the person represented by its Life-reverberating Stone and its specific activation effects have not been established.

Wakuna is introduced indirectly as one of the legendary White Whistles whose exploits are known in Orth. Ozen mentions Wakuna alongside other exceptional delvers.

At Ido Front, Bondrewd provides a more significant update. Wakuna has already made a Last Dive, entering the Sixth Layer without notice by using a personal Relic rather than passing through Bondrewd's conventional route.
