Vincent

Vincent is intelligent, composed and generally easygoing. Around younger children he displays a warm side that contrasts with his serious demeanor during military or scientific discussions.

He is exceptionally loyal to Norman and credits him with liberating the Lambda subjects. Like the other survivors, that gratitude becomes entwined with a willingness to follow Norman through increasingly extreme plans.

Vincent also enjoys fashion and practical craftsmanship. He can make clothing, snacks and weapons, giving him a surprisingly broad range of interests beyond medicine and strategy.

Vincent possesses exceptional intelligence, particularly in science and medicine. He demonstrated advanced mathematical ability from childhood, and Lambda subjected him to brain surgery in an attempt to raise his performance closer to Norman's level.

He is medically knowledgeable enough to work with the Lambda survivors' illnesses and participates in developing the scientific components of Norman's operations.

Vincent can also fight when necessary and is capable with practical engineering and fabrication.

Vincent is raised at Glory Bell before being transferred to Lambda because of his exceptional academic performance. There he is subjected to invasive experiments, including brain surgery.

Vincent and Norman secretly communicate inside Lambda by hiding written messages in a cube. Their cooperation contributes to the uprising that destroys the facility and frees its experimental subjects.

Afterward Vincent becomes one of Norman's principal advisers at the Paradise Hideout. He assists with the plan to induce demon degeneration and participates in operations against the royal capital.

Vincent later appears to betray Norman by communicating with Peter Ratri, but the betrayal is a deliberate deception intended to manipulate Ratri's forces.

Norman is Vincent's closest leader and intellectual partner. Vincent reveres him for engineering the Lambda escape and calls him Boss.

Cislo, Barbara and Zazie are Vincent's fellow Lambda survivors and closest operational companions.

Emma challenges the extermination strategy Vincent initially supports.

Ray joins Emma in attempting to change Norman's course.

Peter Ratri believes Vincent has turned against Norman, but Vincent's apparent betrayal is part of a deception against him.
