Unmo

Unmo is cheerful, sociable, and always ready for a celebration. He is commonly seen around Ganen, particularly when food and alcohol are involved, and appears considerably happier in social scenes than his stern-looking design might suggest.

He accepts major changes in village leadership without much visible resistance. Senku's arrival introduces extraordinary ideas into the community, but Unmo appears more interested in participating in the resulting celebrations than in resisting change for its own sake.

Unmo is a capable drummer and provides the percussion during the Grand Bout, turning the tournament into a larger village spectacle rather than a series of isolated fights.

He can also participate in Ishigami Village's defense. Reference material depicts him equipped with a small round shield and an axe when the villagers prepare to fight, indicating at least basic familiarity with weapons.

Unmo is not established as a fighter on the level of Kohaku, Magma, or Kinro.

Unmo becomes particularly visible during the Grand Bout, where he performs as the village drummer while fighters compete for leadership.

After the tournament, he joins Ganen and Genbu in the celebrations. The trio enthusiastically distribute alcohol and help turn the event into a full village party.

When the village later prepares to defend itself from outside attack, Unmo is among the residents willing to take up weapons.

He remains a background member of Ishigami Village as Senku's scientific program expands, contributing to the community rather than joining its core expeditionary teams.

Ganen is one of Unmo's closest recurring companions, particularly during drinking and celebration scenes.

Genbu joins Unmo and Ganen in the celebrations surrounding major village events.

Senku Ishigami's rise to leadership gives Unmo one of the major occasions on which he celebrates.

Chrome receives an enthusiastic serving of alcohol from the celebration group after the Kingdom of Science's early successes.
