Tetsuo Nemoto

Nemoto is crude, bullying and opportunistic. In the manga he joins his gang members in harassing Kishimoto and attempts to exploit situations in which he believes she has been left vulnerable.

Despite leading a biker gang, he is not especially courageous when facing opponents capable of fighting back. He prefers acting with allies or when he believes he has a decisive advantage.

The anime expands his ordinary life considerably, portraying him as a construction worker as well as a biker and giving more attention to his wife and son.

Nemoto has no supernatural abilities or notable specialized combat training.

He does wear a Gantz suit during the Tanaka Alien mission, giving him enhanced strength and protection, but he contributes little to the actual hunt.

His tendency to avoid dangerous confrontations prevents him from exploiting the equipment as effectively as more committed participants.

Nemoto arrives after being caught in a violent clash involving his biker gang. He enters the Tanaka Alien mission with Kosuke Nakajima and other gang members.

Although he possesses a suit, Nemoto avoids taking the same risks as unequipped hunters and contributes little against the mission targets.

After the mission, Nemoto attempts to tell another person about Gantz. The explosive device implanted in his head activates as punishment for violating the system's secrecy rule, killing him outside an active hunt.

Haruka Nemoto is Nemoto's wife, and Eikichi Nemoto is their infant son.

Kosuke Nakajima, Shinsuke Nishikawa and other bikers follow Nemoto as members of his gang.

Kei Kishimoto becomes the target of Nemoto's predatory behavior in the Gantz room.

Kei Kurono recognizes the value of Nemoto's unused suit and attempts to obtain it before Nemoto finally decides to wear it himself.
