Susumu Kimura

Kimura is characterized primarily through his membership in the Sadistic Trio. The group takes pleasure in violence and approaches the Osaka hunt with the same aggressive confidence displayed by several of the city's veteran players.

Very little individual background or personality is established for Kimura beyond this association. He is comfortable participating in the trio's attacks and shows none of the reluctance toward killing seen in hunters such as Masaru Katou.

Kimura is an Osaka Gantz hunter equipped with the enhanced suit and standard weapons provided by the black sphere.

His membership in the Sadistic Trio indicates prior familiarity with Gantz combat, although the manga does not establish a detailed individual fighting style, point history or signature weapon for him.

He fights as part of a group rather than receiving the extended solo combat demonstrations given to Osaka's highest-scoring veterans.

Kimura appears during the Nurarihyon mission after the Tokyo team is transported into Osaka's hunting territory. He, Taira and Hara operate together while the various groups of hunters spread across the city.

The trio eventually encounters the Vampires and the Samurai Yokai Aliens. The confrontation ends disastrously for the Osaka hunters: the Samurai Yokai overwhelm the trio, and Kimura is killed during the fight.

Sanpei Taira and Tetsuo Hara are Kimura's companions in the Sadistic Trio. The three hunters operate together during the Osaka mission and share a reputation for enjoying violence.

Hikawa and Chiaki encounter the trio after temporarily joining forces with the Samurai Yokai Aliens.

Masaru Katou belongs to the Tokyo group fighting through the same Nurarihyon mission but does not share the trio's approach to killing.
