Susamaru

Susamaru is energetic, immature, competitive, and sadistic. She speaks excitedly while attacking and derives obvious enjoyment from turning violence into a game of temari.

She is also proud of the strength given to her by Muzan Kibutsuji. Muzan's manipulation has convinced her that she belongs among the Twelve Kizuki, and she eagerly seeks his approval by attempting to kill Tanjiro.

Her enthusiasm contrasts with Yahaba's irritable precision. Susamaru is noisy and impulsive, while her partner repeatedly complains about her behavior.

Susamaru possesses the enhanced strength, speed, regeneration, and endurance common to powerful demons. She can manifest two additional pairs of arms, giving her six arms with which to throw multiple temari simultaneously.

Her Blood Demon Art creates and controls temari balls possessing tremendous destructive force. The balls can rebound repeatedly through confined spaces, smashing structures and inflicting devastating blunt-force injuries.

When combined with Yahaba's Koketsu Arrows, the trajectories of Susamaru's temari can be manipulated in ways that make their attacks difficult to predict or counter.

Muzan sends Susamaru and Yahaba after Tanjiro following their encounter in Asakusa. The demons locate the concealed residence of Tamayo and Yushiro, forcing Tanjiro and Nezuko into battle.

Susamaru initially overwhelms the group by bombarding the house with temari. Yushiro's visual abilities eventually allow Tanjiro and Nezuko to perceive Yahaba's arrows and understand how the two demons coordinate.

Tamayo ultimately uses her Blood Demon Art to impair Susamaru's judgment and tricks her into speaking Muzan's name. Muzan's curse activates immediately and destroys Susamaru from within. Tamayo then explains that Susamaru was never actually one of the Twelve Kizuki.

Yahaba is Susamaru's partner during the Asakusa attack. Their Blood Demon Arts complement each other, although their personalities frequently clash.

Muzan Kibutsuji gives Susamaru power and sends her to kill Tanjiro. Susamaru falsely believes she has been recognized as one of the Twelve Kizuki, and Muzan's curse ultimately kills her when Tamayo induces her to say his name.

Tanjiro Kamado is one of Susamaru's principal targets during the Asakusa battle.

Nezuko Kamado directly fights Susamaru and repeatedly kicks her temari back at her.

Tamayo defeats Susamaru indirectly by using Magical Aroma of Daylight to make her violate Muzan's prohibition against speaking his name.

Yushiro helps expose the mechanics behind Susamaru and Yahaba's coordinated attacks.
