Yahaba

Yahaba is irritable, serious, fastidious, and proud. He repeatedly objects to Susamaru's noisy and destructive behavior and becomes annoyed when she dirties his clothing.

He nevertheless shares her confidence in their mission and desire for recognition from Muzan Kibutsuji. He treats killing Tanjiro Kamado as an opportunity to demonstrate his value.

Yahaba becomes increasingly furious as Tanjiro adapts to his Blood Demon Art. His orderly demeanor gives way to rage once his techniques stop controlling the battle.

Yahaba's Blood Demon Art, Koketsu Arrow, generates red arrows visible through the eyes located in his palms. These arrows indicate vectors of force and can attach to people, objects, and attacks.

Once an arrow is attached, Yahaba can force the target in its designated direction. He can hurl opponents into walls, alter their trajectories in midair, and redirect Susamaru's temari to create complex attacks.

The arrows themselves do not need to cut an opponent to cause injury; the violent changes in direction and collisions they produce can be lethal. Tanjiro eventually counters them by incorporating their rotational force into Water Breathing movements rather than resisting them directly.

Yahaba and Susamaru are dispatched after Muzan encounters Tanjiro in Asakusa. Yahaba uses his palm-eyes to locate Tamayo's concealed home despite Yushiro's Blood Demon Art hiding it.

He initially coordinates with Susamaru before the battle separates them. Tanjiro then fights Yahaba directly and struggles to adapt to invisible forces throwing his body in unpredictable directions.

Tanjiro eventually combines multiple Water Breathing techniques to redirect Yahaba's arrows and decapitates him. Even while disintegrating, Yahaba continues attaching arrows to Tanjiro in an attempt to kill him, forcing Tanjiro to use repeated forms to survive until the demon disappears.

Susamaru is Yahaba's partner in the Asakusa attack. Their abilities work effectively together despite Yahaba's constant irritation with her behavior.

Muzan Kibutsuji commands Yahaba and sends him to eliminate Tanjiro.

Tanjiro Kamado becomes Yahaba's direct opponent after the battle at Tamayo's residence splits into separate fights.

Tamayo and Yushiro are targets of the attack because they shelter Tanjiro and Nezuko.
