HELLSING

Seras Victoria

セラス・ヴィクトリア

Story Role

Seras begins as a police officer dispatched to Cheddar Village after reports of violent disturbances. The operation collapses when a vampire priest kills or converts those around her, leaving Seras trapped in a supernatural incident her ordinary training cannot address.

Alucard finds her being used as a hostage by the priest. Rather than allowing the vampire to escape, he asks Seras whether she is prepared for what he is about to do and fires through her body to kill the priest behind her. He subsequently saves her from death by turning her into a vampire.

Seras enters Hellsing as Alucard's fledgling and struggles with its environment. Integra expects discipline, Walter supplies equipment, and Alucard gives advice that often sounds deliberately cruel because he wants Seras to stop pretending her transformation can simply be ignored.

Her growing strength makes her increasingly valuable during attacks on Hellsing. She develops into a heavy-weapons specialist capable of combating military-scale supernatural threats rather than merely individual ghouls.

The arrival of the Wild Geese gives Seras a closer connection to ordinary human soldiers. Their commander, Pip Bernadotte, treats her irreverently and gradually becomes personally important to her.

During Millennium's assault on Hellsing Headquarters, Zorin Blitz attacks Seras psychologically with traumatic memories and inflicts catastrophic physical injuries. Pip intervenes to protect her and is mortally wounded. Seras finally drinks his blood, completing her transformation into a true vampire and gaining enough power to destroy Zorin.

After Alucard disappears during the final stages of Millennium's plan, Seras remains with Integra and becomes Hellsing's principal active vampire. Decades later, she is still serving the organization when Alucard returns.
