Rumiho Akiha

Rumiho is playful, imaginative and exceptionally comfortable improvising fictional scenarios. Where most people dismiss Okabe's Hououin Kyouma persona, Faris answers it with equally elaborate stories and can leave even Okabe struggling to keep pace.

She calls her ability to read people's emotions through their eyes "Cheshire Break." It is not presented as a literal supernatural power; rather, Faris is remarkably perceptive and skilled at reading subtle changes in behavior.

Beneath the cat-maid persona, she is more mature and emotionally observant than she initially appears. Her attachment to her father and memories of her family shape some of her most consequential decisions.

Rumiho has no supernatural abilities. Her "Cheshire Break" is her name for an unusually strong talent for reading people through facial expressions and eye contact.

She is also a skilled RaiNet Access Battlers player and has a strong reputation within the game's competitive community.

Her wealth and family influence give her substantial connections within Akihabara, while her social intelligence allows her to navigate situations that the more technically minded laboratory members often mishandle.

Faris is introduced through MayQueen+Nyan², where Mayuri works alongside her. She becomes Lab Member 007 and learns about the laboratory's ability to send messages into the past.

Like several other members, she is eventually allowed to send a D-Mail motivated by a deeply personal wish.

Faris uses her D-Mail to prevent the death of her father, Yukitaka. The resulting world line dramatically changes Akihabara because the moe culture she helped foster never develops in the same way. She later chooses to reverse the message, accepting the restoration of a history in which her father died.

Yukitaka Akiha is Rumiho's father and the central figure in one of her most painful memories. Her D-Mail is sent to save his life, and reversing it requires her to surrender the world line in which he survived.

Rintarou Okabe becomes Faris's fellow Lab Member and favorite partner for elaborate role-playing conversations.

Mayuri Shiina works with Rumiho at MayQueen+Nyan² and shares her enthusiasm for cosplay and Akihabara culture.

Kurisu Makise becomes another member of Rumiho's laboratory circle.
