Rovian Kirishima

Rovian is relaxed, enigmatic and intensely poetic. She frequently expresses herself through verses whose intended meaning is difficult for other people to decipher, maintaining an almost dreamlike composure even during strange situations.

Behind that eccentric presentation is a clever organizer. Rovian is capable of planning complicated operations, reverse-engineering technology and maintaining the loyalty of an entire group of bandits. Her casual manner should not be mistaken for a lack of intelligence.

When sufficiently angered, Rovian enters a much more intense state in which her usual calm disappears. She considers this furious temperament ill-suited to the freedom she associates with Rush Dueling and generally prefers her normal poetic approach.

Rovian is a highly capable Rush Duelist using a WIND Psychic Deck centered on Banditress monsters. The archetype combines music, poetry and outlaw imagery, matching her identity as both a performer and the leader of Rovian's Bandits.

Banditress the Battle Ballad serves as one of her signature monsters. Her strategies frequently manipulate the opponent's hand size, converting those conditions into increased ATK or effect damage.

Rovian is also technically resourceful. She is capable of obtaining and reverse-engineering advanced equipment, contributing to the development of Rush Battlers used in the Alien Residential Area.

Rovian becomes the central figure in the conflict surrounding the underground Alien Residential Area. Yuhi Ohdo, Yuamu Ohdo and Yudias Velgear seek her while investigating Rovian's Bandits and the mysterious power surrounding the Space Treasure.

Her organization has developed Rush Battlers capable of collecting Duel Power. Rovian's own motives are therefore more complicated than her romantic language about freedom initially suggests.

The confrontation ultimately reveals that the supposed Space Treasure and the strange phenomena surrounding it are connected to Earthdamar and the larger mystery involving Velgearians. Rovian subsequently becomes an ally rather than remaining an antagonist.

Yuna Goha is Rovian's closest friend and one of her most devoted supporters. Their relationship predates much of the conflict surrounding Rovian's Bandits.

London Kirishima is Rovian's cousin and another figure connected to her activities in the Alien Residential Area.

Asaka Mutsuba is Rovian's friend and rival. Their contrasting temperaments produce occasional friction, but they repeatedly cooperate when larger threats arise.

Yuamu Ohdo becomes another friend and rival through repeated Rush Duels and shared conflicts.

Yudias Velgear initially approaches Rovian while investigating her bandits and later becomes an ally.

Yuhi Ohdo is similarly drawn into Rovian's plans through the mystery surrounding Duel Power and the Space Treasure.
