Piiman

Piiman is lively, impressionable and devoted to his friends. He follows Usopp’s routines with enthusiasm and shares the group’s mixture of credulity, playfulness and genuine admiration for their captain.

He becomes frightened when confronted by lethal danger but returns to help once Kaya is threatened. His courage is collective: he draws resolve from Ninjin and Tamanegi rather than acting as a solitary fighter.

Piiman accepts the end of the Usopp Pirates with sadness but also with purpose. His plan to become a carpenter gives him a personal dream parallel to Usopp’s decision to go to sea.

Piiman is an ordinary eleven-year-old without supernatural powers. His weapon is a baseball bat, used as an improvised club against intruders.

He contributes to the traps and coordinated diversions employed by the Usopp Pirates. The group’s familiarity with the forest lets them delay Jango despite the large difference in strength.

Piiman has no named techniques or formal combat training. His established future ambition is carpentry, not a military or piratical career.

Piiman is introduced during the Syrup Village arc as a member of Usopp’s pretend pirate crew. He joins the daily cry that pirates are approaching and participates in the group’s patrols.

Usopp initially tries to protect the children by keeping them away from Kuro’s planned attack. After they discover Kaya missing from her home, they enter the conflict and intercept Jango in the forest.

Piiman fights beside Ninjin and Tamanegi, using traps and improvised weapons to prevent Jango from hypnotizing Kaya. Zoro arrives before Jango can defeat them permanently.

When Usopp leaves Syrup Village, he dissolves the crew and orders each child to pursue his own dream. Piiman resolves to become a carpenter and later remains among Kaya’s regular companions.

Usopp is Piiman’s captain and the source of his fascination with pirate adventures. Piiman is distressed by his departure but follows his instruction to pursue an independent dream.

Ninjin and Tamanegi are Piiman’s fellow crew members and closest companions. Their effectiveness comes from acting together.

Kaya receives the group’s protection during the attack and remains their friend afterward. The children later study or spend time near her home.

Jango is the enemy Piiman helps delay. Roronoa Zoro arrives in time to rescue the children and Kaya.
