Paula

Paula is quiet, reserved and loyal. She does not speak as readily as several other resistance members and generally communicates through actions.

She cares deeply about the children living at Goldy Pond and takes her responsibilities seriously. Managing provisions is essential in a settlement where resources are limited and every resident is being hunted.

Her composure also makes her well suited to sniping, where patience and timing are as important as courage.

Paula is an accomplished marksman specializing in long-range firearm use. She is capable of accurately targeting the exposed vital eyes of demons after their masks have been broken.

She understands the resistance's coordinated combat tactics and can remain focused while confronting opponents physically far stronger than any human.

Outside combat, Paula manages provisions for the Goldy Pond Resistance, giving her an important logistical role.

Paula is raised at Grand Valley before being sent to Goldy Pond as prey. Rather than remaining isolated, she joins the resistance and becomes one of its dependable fighters.

When Emma's arrival gives the children an opportunity to accelerate their rebellion, Paula participates in the planned assault on the Poachers.

During the battle, Paula and Violet fire on Nouma after Sonya creates an opening by damaging her mask. Paula survives the Goldy Pond conflict and leaves the hunting ground with the other resistance members.

She later lives alongside the Grace Field escapees and continues supporting the larger community as their conflict with the farms expands.

Oliver is Paula's leader within the Goldy Pond Resistance.

Lucas helps prepare Paula and the other children to fight the Poachers.
