Personality
Personality
Omiko is hot-tempered, proud, competitive, and fanatically serious about her club. She treats tennis practice as an obligation important enough that even being held hostage does not qualify as an acceptable excuse for absence.
She is also confident in the advantages provided by her Goku Uniform and initially considers Ryuuko an opponent who can be overwhelmed through Honnouji's established system of rank and enhanced equipment.
Her pride makes Ryuuko's improvisational fighting style particularly irritating to her. Omiko expects a tennis confrontation to occur on her terms, while Ryuuko has little interest in respecting those conventions.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
Omiko wears a specialized Two-Star Goku Uniform designed around tennis. The uniform enhances her physical abilities and carries a large supply of tennis balls, while its equipment includes interchangeable lenses used during play.
Her signature offensive technique is the 110 Million Cannonball Serve, an overwhelming barrage of high-speed tennis balls. The Tennis Club also uses this attack to punish members who fail their club obligations.
Omiko is sufficiently skilled to control specialized serves and spins, although her Life Fiber-enhanced abilities remain substantially below those of Ryuuko and Senketsu fighting in synchronization.
Story Role
Story Role
Omiko confronts Ryuuko soon after her transfer to Honnouji. After the Tennis Club attacks her, Ryuuko returns for a formal match and initially struggles to control her enhanced strength without destroying ordinary tennis rackets.
Senketsu helps Ryuuko improvise by using the Scissor Blade's handle as a racket. Satsuki Kiryuuin allows the unconventional tactic, and Ryuuko defeats Omiko and destroys her Goku Uniform.
Omiko later reappears after being freed from a COVERS garment and joins other Honnouji club leaders in supporting the resistance during the final conflict.
