Nyandestar

Nyandestar is observant, level-headed and often more restrained than Manabu. She approaches investigations professionally and can recognize when her partner's enthusiasm or rigid adherence to procedure is getting ahead of him.

She is capable of keeping important information to herself when circumstances require it. Her quiet confidence makes her difficult to read, and this becomes especially apparent when her actions seem to conflict with what Manabu expects from her.

Nyandestar also possesses a playful feline side. Her cat appearance and mannerisms remain part of her personality even though she is fully intelligent, and her fondness for banana parfait is explicitly referenced by a monster card modeled after her.

Nyandestar possesses distinctive eyes that glow when she uses them to identify extraterrestrials. This ability makes her particularly valuable to MIK, whose work depends on locating aliens hiding among Earth's population.

She can assume a humanoid form in addition to her familiar cat appearance. This form allows her to Rush Duel normally and reveals that her capabilities extend considerably beyond those of an ordinary animal.

Nyandestar uses a LIGHT Beast Deck centered on Star Cat monsters. Gold-Eyes Star Cat is her principal ace, while cards such as Red-Eyes Black Cat and Blue-Eyes White Cat continue the Deck's feline reinterpretations of familiar Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters.

Her Deck also supports Fusion Summoning. Star Cat Straynge Cat and other Fusion Monsters give her access to stronger combinations while maintaining the Deck's low-ATK Beast strategy.

Nyandestar first appears as Manabu's partner when MIK investigates Yudias, whose arrival on Earth brings the organization directly into contact with UTS. Her ability to detect aliens confirms Yudias's extraterrestrial nature.

She remains beside Manabu through subsequent investigations and gradually becomes acquainted with Yudias, Yuhi and Yuamu. Although she initially represents the authority monitoring their alien associates, Nyandestar develops into a regular member of the wider group.

During the conflict with The☆Lugh, Nyandestar appears in her humanoid form and seemingly joins his side. Her apparent betrayal is a deception, allowing her to investigate the situation while concealing her intentions from both her allies and opponents.

Later conflicts within MIK repeatedly test Nyandestar's loyalty to Manabu and the institution they serve, particularly when Phaser Ryugu takes control and begins pursuing increasingly extreme policies.

Manabu Sougetsu is Nyandestar's regular partner and closest professional companion. She frequently balances Manabu Sougetsu's excitable personality with a calmer approach, while the two rely heavily on each other during MIK investigations.

Yudias Velgear is one of the aliens Nyandestar investigates after his arrival on Earth. She eventually becomes his ally rather than simply treating him as a target of MIK surveillance.

Yuhi Ohdo and Yuamu Ohdo become Nyandestar's allies through their repeated involvement with extraterrestrial incidents.

The☆Lugh becomes central to one of Nyandestar's most deceptive operations. [Her apparent decision to serve The☆Lugh is part of a concealed effort rather than a genuine abandonment of her allies.](#spoiler)

London Kirishima becomes involved with Nyandestar during the same incident, with both characters possessing information that the others do not initially understand.

Ranran Nanahoshi is another MIK officer whose work intersects with Nyandestar's position in the organization.
