Murugu

Murugu is intensely loyal to Suzaku and carries out his instructions without questioning his motives. Her behavior is energetic and often abrasive, matching her role as a fast-moving subordinate rather than a direct combatant.

She takes satisfaction in providing useful information to her master and functions almost entirely in support of his plans. No independent ambition beyond serving Suzaku is established.

Murugu can fly, allowing her to move rapidly between locations and observe targets from above. Her small body also makes her well suited to reconnaissance.

Most importantly, she can travel beyond the barriers surrounding Maze Castle and carry information between areas inaccessible to Suzaku while he remains at his headquarters.

Murugu is not portrayed as a significant offensive fighter. Her value lies in mobility, observation and communication.

Murugu operates as Suzaku's eyes outside Maze Castle during Yusuke's mission against the Four Saint Beasts. She observes Yusuke and gathers information about his life in the Human World.

Her reconnaissance leads Suzaku to Keiko Yukimura. He realizes that threatening Keiko can divide Yusuke's attention while the Makai insects spread through the city.

Murugu continues assisting Suzaku during Yusuke's confrontation with him at the top of Maze Castle.

During the final clash, Yusuke pours his remaining life energy into his attack against Suzaku. The resulting destruction overwhelms Suzaku and Murugu together.

Suzaku is Murugu's master. She serves him loyally as a scout and messenger throughout the Four Saint Beasts conflict.

Yusuke Urameshi becomes the principal enemy Murugu observes on Suzaku's behalf.

Keiko Yukimura becomes a target after Murugu's reconnaissance reveals her importance to Yusuke.
