Mo Dress

Mo is practical and inventive about the limitations of his natural ability. Rather than accepting gas production as his entire combat repertoire, he works with a specialist to build equipment that makes the power useful in battle.

His work as both a free Keeper and bounty hunter indicates an independent professional streak. He is accustomed to taking dangerous assignments rather than remaining exclusively within Yamato Mori's central structure.

The manga gives comparatively little attention to his private life, with his characterization focused primarily on his profession and unconventional weapon system.

Mo's original Choujin ability allows him to produce natural gas. On its own, this is less immediately useful in combat than many offensive Choujin abilities.

Dr. Bambina compensates for that limitation by developing missiles designed around Mo's gas production. The resulting system lets him convert his generated fuel into explosive attacks, earning him the description of Missile Choujin.

As a Choujin, Mo can also use Raise to recover from otherwise lethal injuries.

Mo appears among the experienced Keepers mobilized by Yamato Mori when threats grow beyond what its younger operatives can handle.

His presence illustrates the range of people who work as Keepers. Not every useful Choujin possesses an inherently spectacular ability; equipment and technical collaboration can dramatically change how an ability functions in practice.

Mo participates in the dangerous operations surrounding the Tower of Mourning, joining Yamato Mori's larger force against enemies whose power requires the organization to deploy veteran and freelance Keepers together.

Dr. Bambina is Mo's friend and technical collaborator. Dr. Bambina develops the missile equipment that allows Mo to weaponize his natural gas effectively.

Ichirou Satou operates within the Yamato Mori leadership responsible for coordinating large Keeper deployments in which Mo participates.

Hoshi Sandek is one of Yamato Mori's senior combat leaders and belongs to the same organization as Mo.
